The Sanctuary is a boutique personal care home in Mableton, Georgia, created to offer older adults a more personal and intimate approach to care.
We believe home should feel familiar, comfortable, and filled with meaningful connection. In our intentionally small residential setting, residents are known as individuals, care is thoughtfully tailored to their needs, and families can feel confident knowing their loved one is supported with dignity, compassion, and attention to the details that matter.
The Heart Behind The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary was born from both professional experience and a deeply personal understanding of caregiving. After more than 20 years in healthcare and my own journey caring for a loved one, I came to understand just how important it is for families to find care that feels personal, thoughtful, and trustworthy.
Throughout my career, I have led healthcare initiatives focused on improving quality of care, advancing clinical programs, strengthening health outcomes, and creating better experiences for patients and families. My work has spanned Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial healthcare, giving me a broad understanding of how care is delivered, coordinated, and experienced across the healthcare system.
But caregiving gave those principles an entirely different meaning.
It reinforced my belief that exceptional care is not only about meeting someone’s needs. It is about knowing the person, preserving their dignity, understanding what matters to them, and creating an environment where they can feel safe, comfortable, and at home.
That belief became the foundation of The Sanctuary.
I created The Sanctuary to bring together the standards I have spent my career advocating for — quality, thoughtful care, and better experiences — with the warmth and personal connection every family deserves. Here, residents are known individually, families are supported, and thoughtful attention is part of everyday life.
